    Some years ago there lived a gentleman in Heathfield House, Ballycastle, Co Mayo called Captain Burke.

    The Captain asked him to banish the wasps. The Priest said he would under the conditions I that the Captain would go down on his knees and beg forgiveness for disallowing him to hold his station, II to allow him to hold his station in the Gate-House. The Captain did as he was bade. Then the Priest said some prayers and little by little the wasps disappeared until there was not one left.
