  1. Weasels are very plentiful things. Sometimes no one of them is to be seen atall. It is said any place they come around, and that if there is rats in the place that they kill them.
Sometimes they kill chickens, and fare size hens, and if anything is done to one of them, that the rest of them will have a revenge, and they make great destruction in that place.
It is said if one of them puts their tail in their mouth and whistles for the rest that they come in hundreds to that place. It is not easy to kill weasels, but it is said that their skin is a good cure for a pain in the hand. It is also lucky to make a purse of their skin that it would never be empty without money, wherever it comes from.
