    Tá a lán abairtí ag na sean-daoine i dtaoibh na h-aimsir
    Deireann siad dá mbéad píosa den tuathal ceathar roimh an gréan go mbéadh droch-aimsir againn agus dá mbéadh píosa den tuathal ceathar indiaidh an ghréan go mbeádh aimsir breágh againn. Deirtear dá mbéadh píosa fáinne thart timccheall an gealaighe go mbéadh droch-aimsir ag tígheacht agus dá mbeádh an brof ag áirdeadh suas as an fharraige san dtaoibh dtuaidh (?) deirtear go mbéadh droc-aimsir againn.
    Dá mbéádh na néalta dubha ag sguabadh treasna na spéire deirtear go mbeádh alán báistighe againn.
