    A mother came when stars were (pailing),
    Wailing round a lonely spring,
    Thus she cried while tears were falling,
    Balling on her fairy king.
    II.
    Why with spells my child caressing ,
    Courting him with fairy joy,
    Why destroy a mothers blessing?
    Where force steal my fairy boy.
    III.
    O'er the mountains through the wild woods
