    There are two Holy wells in this Parish one in Templetown and the other one is in Mill-Grange.
    The name of the well that is in Mill-Grange is called Saint Jame's well and the one that is in Templetown is called Lady well.
    Saint Jame's well is situated in a place called the relic. People still visit this well on the 25th July. The people say the Rosary five times and the Station of the Cross are made round the ruins of a Church that was there some years ago.
    There is a stone just beside the well. There are two knee marks on the stone and it is supposed that Saint Jame's knelt there on the stone and he left the prints of his knees. Others say that this stone has been brought from Spain. St James is the patron Saint of Cooley. The Church in Grange is called Saint Jame's Church.
