    Featherfew cures liver disease and kidney and stomach diseases. The leaves are boiled, strained, the juice is put in a clean dry bottle and corked. A tablespoon is taken fasting in the morning. Nettles are suppose to purify the blood and keep a person free from colds all the year. The nettles are boiled with a little salt in the water. The are strained and put through a sieve. Butter paper and salt is put on them. Then the are eaten. The nettles must be young. A dock-leaf cures a nettle sting.
