    The name of my home district is Glenaree. It is in parish of Knocklong and in the barony of Cashel.
    There are nine houses in it. There are forty eight people living in it. The names of the families are Reilly's, Elliott's, Ryan's, Flynn's, Brien's, Buckley's, Callaghan's, Brien's, Carey's. There are four thatched houses in, it and five slate houses. There are six farmer's houses and three cottage's in it. There are two ruins in it. The names of the people were Hourgan's and Gilbert. Some of the Gillert's went to America. The land that is in Glenaree is hilly and dry. There are two old people living in Glenaree. The names of them Mrs. Reilly's age seventy Glenaree Knoocklong Co. Limk. Mrs. Dynan age seventy five Glenaree Knocklong Co. Limk.
