    The Kings priest was burned to ashes, his garments which the saints priests wore were also burned. The priest of saints Patrick was not touched and his clothes which the King Druid wore were not touched.

  2. On olden days St Patrick visited Kilfinane which was a city at that time. On a bad snowy winters night he visited several houses and asked for lodging but did not get it. He travelled along outside the town to a place called Ballinanema. He called to a house where an old woman was living alone and asked her if she could keep him for the night. She said yes but she had neither fire or food to comfort him. He thanked her very much and said
