    The Mother offered her the shawl and held it well in in the kitchen where the poor girl had to step in.
    The mother threw "Holy Water" over the girl as she handed her the shawl.
    The charm was broken and the fairies had to flee and leave her there.

    One evening as three passengers were driving in a trap beyond Inniskeen (P. MacCionaith, agus a bhean agus a drathair) when suddenly a passenger appeared in the trap and no head on him.
    He remained there for a couple of miles of the road and suddenly disappeared as they were crossing the River Fane.
    On coming home that night, and reaching the spot where the figure disappeared, the pony frightened and would not move. The man got down, coaxed him, beat him
