    When he reached Biddy's house, she said she had a good mind to keep him for the night and put him into a dark room and not to give him bit, bite nor sup. He told her his story and then she went into a room. He followed her to the door of the room and looked in after her. She turned around and beat him out and put him standing near the fire where he couldn't stir. At last she came out of the room with a green bottle in her hand. She then released him and he was able to move when she came out and he ran up to her and said he was dry and to give him a sup out of the bottle. She refused him and said "it isn't you that is sick". She then gave him the green bottle and told him to hold it firm and that when he would come to a certain cross road, the bottle would begin to pull out of his pocket and that he should then turn round on the jennet's back and the bottle
