  1. Tailors are always looked upon as very bad specimens of manhood. There is a saying that it takes nine tailors to make a man.
    The following rhyme about tailors was often heard in this locality -
    Four and twenty tailors went out to slay a snail.
    The bravest man among them trod upon its tail.
    The snail turned round his homes like a cow
    Help! cried the tailors or we're all dead men now.
