    There are a great number of men who repair boots locally. These are called cobblers. In former times the school children all wore clogs. At present they wear boots. The upper part of the clogs are made of leather and the soles are made of wood. The man who makes clogs is called a clog maker. At present there is only one clog maker in this district. There are different kinds of foot-wear such as boots, shoes clogs and wellingtons worn.
