    Traveling people come to my home. The same people have been travelling for many years. Some of them are very poor and others not so poor. Some of them sell small articles such as lace, tin cans and flowers. They make the cans and flowers and buy the lace in shops. The travellers are not welcome to the district.
    Some of them sleep in caravans. They carry no food with them. The travellers come for the fairs. The people do not gather round the travellers. Chaw the Monkey, Purly White, The McCann family, and Joe Galuney are the best known.
