  1. There are many old customs connected with St. Stephens Day. Many people go around looking for money. They dress up in old clothes and put on false faces. Some of them get musical instruments & others get old kettles and sticks to make noise with. They get a wren & if you don't give them money, they bury the wren at your door. This is supposed to bring you bad luck. If you give them money it is lucky they say.
