  1. Long ago I used to make a lot of toys. I made dolls from rags, hens from potatoes, watches from card-board, glasses from wire, balls from paper, boats from paper, flags from paper and string and daisy-chains. The hens were made from potatoes. I got one big potato and I cut the bottom of it flat. The I got a small one and joined it to the other one with wire. Then I put sticks for legs. I joined daisies together to make daisy-chains.
