The next morning the bones were all back again in the crocks and the crocks were back in the same place as they were at first. There was a priest hanged out of the tree and it was supposed to be him that owned the bones.
- There is a hill in this district called Shanra hill and on that hill there was a priest hanged. He was hanged out of a large ash tree and this tree rotted away afterwards. He was hanged by the English or yeomen as they were called. It is said that there was a chapel on this hill in old times. There is a large stone on the top of his hill in Mr Carter's field and there is a hollow in the middle of the stone. People say it was used by the priest to wash his hands in when he was saying mass. John Feeny Ballycomon was making a ditch in this field and he found a lot of bones of people in it. They were only about one and a half feet under the surface. Peter Kilroe a roadman was edging the road on the top of this hill one day and he came on a cement path by the edge of the road. It was leading inwards towards(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
