The Abbeylara Cemetery in the grounds attached to the Abbeylara Church and the Old Abbey Graveyard in the grounds of the Old Monastery in Abbeylara.
It is a very ancient graveyard.
The Carra Cemetery is in the grounds attached to Carra Church and "Bully's Acre" is situated across the road down a short distance from Carra Church. There has not been anyone buried in "Bully's Acre" for the past seventeen years because there was an old workhouse in Granard and any strangers who would die in that workhouse would be buried in "Bully's Acre" as it is called and since that workhouse was done away with there has not been anyone buried in that place and it has been taken over as a grazing field for cattle.
The remains of the old monastery are still to be seen in the Old Abbey Graveyard at Abbeylara.
The Carra Cemetery is not level there is a slight slope to the east of(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
