    The Old meadow is so called because it is kept under grass every year. The Cock's Field is so called because an old woman named Peggy the Cock lived in a house in that field some years ago.
    Parc Cam is so called because there is a great hill in that field
    The Lane Field is so called because it runs along an old lane.

  2. The fields which are on our farm are known by their names and are as follows:
    Stafford's Field, Middle Field Stoney Field Cook's [?] Field, Lime Kiln Field, Road Field, and the [?] Field.
    Stafford's Field got its name because of a man who lived there and his name was Stafford.
    The Stoney Field is so called because there is two stones standing upright there. It is said that these stones were raised over a giant's grave.
    The Lime Kiln Field is so called because there was a Lime Kiln there some years ago.
    Cook's [?] Field is so called because it is said
