   The crow is the commonest bird in this district. She does not migrate as she is to be seen in the fields all through the year.
   The crow builds her nest on the top of a high tree, and she makes it of twigs, "clábar" and feathers. A number of crows usually build together and this place is called a "rookery." She builds on the first day of March. Eight eggs is her usual number and they are of a blue colour with a black dot. My father told me she sits on her eggs three weeks. I was told if a boy robbed a birds nest the bird would sing a
