- The parish graveyard is beside the chapel. There is a tomb stone inside in the chapel where Father Kearney was buiried. It is about 100 yds long and 50 yds across. There are no old tomb stones in it.
Nearly all bodies are buiried there. Where the people want the bodies to be buried they are buried. There is a wall built all around it. There are many shubs and trees growing in it. The graveyard is sloping South-West. There was once a spirit saw in the chapel. One night there was one of the Spollens locked in. A priest came out and asked for someone to say mass. Before this Mr Spollen had him asked to say mass and he died. - There is an old graveyard in Kilkenny West. There are many families buried in it. The last corpse buried in it was a name named John Holgan. He was buried about four years(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
