They thought these very unlucky day to get married on.
Around this locality the people consider March, May and September very lucky months to get married in. Nearly all marriages take place before Lent and a lot of them take place on Shrove Tuesday. Long ago when the married couple were leaving the Church people threw confetti on them. - When the people were getting married about here the man and woman would go on horse back to the church. When they were married they went home to the bride's house. When they went there they had a wedding breakfast. After the wedding breakfast they would go for a drive on a sidecar.
