  1. Cures.
    The Rose.
    1. Any lake or well whose name ends in ruas or rymes with ruas, has the cure. A boy must lift the water for the girl, and a girl must lift for a boy.
    2. Take some mud from the bottom of the lake and put it in a bottle. Then fill it up with water. Make a mud corl. Don't look behind you or the lake will follow you. Rub the mixture on.
    Ring Worm.
    1. The seventh son has this cure. He bleeds his hand and then rubs the blood on the sore.
    2. He gets a black shiney stone, like one seen at the seaside and keeps it. He rubs this to the affected part.
    Boils.
    1. The rough side of a cabbage leaf or any leaf will draw a boil. The smooth side heals it.
    2. Fill a bottle with boiling water and empty it quickly. Put the neck on the boil to draw it
    Toothache.
    1. The seventh daughter has this cure.
