down in my neighbour's land. Tom Birmingham and John Glynn's. Tom Birmingham died and the old house fell. John Glynn's workmen used to work in the house and they left it and it fell.
There are a good many old people in the district. Some of them know Irish and others do not. The old people who know Irish are, John Sharry, Mrs Murphy, James Mc Caw, Mrs O Neill, Pat Queally, and Mrs Queally. The land is good and they used to sow wheat and corn, because there are a lot of ridges in the fields. The food they used to have is potatoes and milk. Often the people used to go out before their breakfast and cut the corn and the women used to thresh it and make stirabout for their breakfast.
