    place the survivors of Drimanaor fled. Up to the present day roots and sticks can be got which were driven there long ago for some purpose.

    There are no old people in the townland at present but they were here ten or fifteen years ago. People that would stir the hair of your head with old Irish stories. They were Patrick and Bridget Hanrahan, Andrew Hehir and Bridget Burke. The following are a list of names of our fields at home.

There were a lot of ruins to be seen a few years ago but there are very few to be seen at present. The commonest name in my townland is Connellan.
