    23rd June - On that night it is an old custom that the people used to go up on the top of a hill and light a bonfire.
    29th June - It is a noted holiday.
    15th July - The people say that if it rains on that day it will rain for forty days.
    29th September - It is an old custom to kill a goose or a hen on that day.
    1st November - On that day the people have apples and beans and they play alot of tricks with them.
    11th of November - It is an old custom to kill a hen or cock and spill the blood.
    26th December - On that day the young children go hunting the wren and they have great fun.

    February - The first day of February is Saint Bridgets day. In every house they make a cross of straw or or timber and nail it to the rafters.
