(1) A good remedy is to frighten the person.
(2)Hold your wrist tightly and keep in your breath.
16. Sore hands.
There is a plant in the fields called the Slanlas (Slánlus) and they used to cure sore hands with it[M. Brinn. Newtown]
The root of a "fellastrum" is used for a toothache.
17. Sickness. If a person is very ill bring a donkey into the kitchen. Let the sick person go in and out under the donkey nine times and he will be cured! [K. Guerin. Corcamore]
It is said that the youngest of seven brothers has the power of curing.
