Twas about seven o'clock in the morning when the man started out. When they were passing Hanley's moat in Scrag, the man blessed himself and said a prayer. When the young fellow saw him blessing himself, he said. "Gor is it cract you are getting." "Ah", says the man. "My two Uncles are in that moat. And how do you know that says the young fellow. "I'll tell you how" says the man.
