  1. In former days people grew their own wheat locally. They sent their wheat to be ground at the mill, which was owned by a man named Oliver at Kilfinane, Co. Limerick.     Boxty-bread was never heard of in this locality. To make Stumpy, potatoes were grated on a grater, and the mixture (half-liquid was collected)
