It is also said that if you licked a Lizard's back then afterwards your tongue when rubbed to a burn would cure it It is also said that if you washed your head on Good Friday or on Christmas Eve you would not get sick for the year. There were also a great many other old cures there but they are altogether forgotten by the present generation.
The poultices of ancient [?] were not so unlike the poultices of the present day. The bread poultices which is one of the most present poultices of the present day was also used in days gone by and it is supposed to be very good for sores.
