- There is a place on the top of Breahaig hill called Cumar na Muice. It was called that name because people often saw a pig there after nightfall.In olden days there was no convenience for mowing hay but with a scythe. There was a man who lived in Breahaig and he used go out in service. He went over to Dromcaer one day mowing hay. He worked hard all day and when his days work was over he cleaned sharpened his blade as was the custom with all mowers. He ate his supper and started for home. There was a near way leading from Dromcaer which would take him home. On his way home he noticed a speckled pig in a field and he thought she was his own because she was in the habit of following him everywhere he went. He went into the field to drive her home.
