  1. Easter Sunday is the greatest feast of the year. The Resurrection establishes definite proof of Christ's divinity and is celebrated in the church as a feast day of the highest order.
    Every body feels happy on this day, when every thing seems to be coming into new life. Birds, bees, and flowers are all awakened by the warm sunshine and the sun is supposed to dance three times at day break on Easter Sunday.
    There are several old customs attached to this feast day. In country districts all the family without exception go to early Mass.
    They they come home and the breakfast is prepared. An iron skillet or pot on the fire and four or five eggs are put down for each person.
