  1. There is a holy well in the parish of Geevagh and a great many people were cured at it. The well is surrounded by some bushes and in one of them there is a hole in which there is clay. The clay which is in this three can be taken out: when you have taken out some of this clay you are supposed to renew with the same amount you have taken out. You should bring the clay home and place it under your pillow and sleep on it that night and any ailment from which you suffer you will be cured if you trust in God. This well is situated on John O'Rourke's farm.
