    Sprain
    The cure for the sprain is to bring a piece of hemp to Charley Kelly of Drumee and he will bless it and put it on the sprained joint and the hemp will fall off when the sprain is cured.
    Ringworm
    The cure of the ringworm is to rub a
    finger on the worm nine times each day for three days and to say some prayers. The days on which it is done are Mondays and Thursdays.
    Whooping Cough
    The cure is to drink ferret leavings.
    Jaundice
    The cure for the jaundice is to boil bark of a certain tree in water and then to drink the water. The bark of two kinds of trees is used-one for a man and one for a woman.
