  1. I lie in my bed as I lie in my grave
Begging of Jesus my soul to receive
Jesus my branch and May my flower
May ye have mercy on me now
    And at my dying hour
The chapel door I enter in
Outside the door I leave my sins
I bless my face with holy water
In the name of God, the Son and Father
I pray to God in the holy altar
To give me the benefit of this day's Mass and holy water.
In the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ crucified, I lie down to rest. Bless me, O Lord, defend and govern me in this short and miserable pilgrimage and bring me to life everlasting. Amen.
