  1. Cure of Warts.
    Pull ten rushes and throw one of them away. Point one rush at the wart every day for nine days. While doing so say each day, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost Amen.
    Then tie the nine rushes together and hang them where they will decay and when the rushes are decaying the warts are going.
    Cure of Sty on the Eye.
    Pluck ten (rushes) goose berry thorns and throw away. Point one at the eye for nine mornings in succession and say each time in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost Amen.
