    [was] cooked beef, and they ate a great feed.
    Then one day the landlord came to see Paddy's pot. He asked Paddy to lend it to him.
    "But," Paddy said, "the fellow who gave it to me told me not to lend it to anyone."
    "But you can come yourself," said the landlord, "along with it."
    "I will," said Paddy.
    The landlord got everything he wanted from the pot. The pot did not work for Paddy afterwards because he lent it to the landlord.
