  1. Once a man lived in a house with one of his sons. He wanted a good wife for his son.
    One day he told his servants to go out and kill a sheep and to bring in the skin with the wool on it. Then he told his son to go to the fair with it and to bring back the skin and the price of it. Then the son went off willingly enough. When he came to the fair he could not get the skin sold and have both at the same time and all the people were laughing at him.
