  1. There is a lot of fairy forts in this school district. Most of the people call them forths, but some of them call them lioses or raths.
    Most of them are round in shape but others are square. They are covered with bushes and there are stones underneath. There are many stories told about them.
    There is a fort in Benbulben a mile from Grange and it is said a wild cat lived in it. He was of a black and white colour. He was often seen running round the fort crying to himself.
    There is a road running alongside this fort. When that road was being made, there was a lot of men working at it.
