  1. Hidden Treasure
    Another story goes that Spring, who lived in Abbeylands, at the approach of the Cromwellians, gathered all his gold and silver and gave it to his butler to hide. After returning to his master's presence when the order was carried out, the boy was shot by his master. The latter then committed suicide.
    The treasure us supposed to be hidden in Bushfield, which is in view of the White Church. Many attempts have been made to get it, but all have failed.
    The White Church is about two fields from "The Abbey".
