  1. Na buachaillí scoile - scata acu i dteannta cheile - a théigheann ó thigh go tigh maidin an lae seo. Bíonn aghaidh Feidil ar gach duine acu is iad. Gléasta suas i slighe is nach n-aithneóchadh aoinne iad.
    I láimh an chaptaen bíonn tor cuilinn, ribíní, ioldaiththe air is dreoilín istigh 'na lár. Nuair a bhuaileann siad isteach i dtigh, thosnuigheann siad ar amhran a ghabháilt. Annso leanas ceann a bhíonn annso acu:-
    "The wran, the wran,The King of all birds,
    On St Stephenes's day
    he was caught in the furze.
    Up with the kettle and
    down with the pan
    A pinny or two to bury the wran."
