    1. Water left after the blossom of the dandelioin is boiled will cure a cold.
    2. When the water left after boiling marsh-mallow is rubbed into parts affected with pains, it will cure them.
    3. When goose-grease is applied to a sprain or an injured limb, it will cure it.
    4. Chilblains are cured when washed in pickle.
    5. Milk left after a ferret has drunk some of it will cure measles.
    6. If a goose breathes into the mouth of a child who has the thrush, it will be cured.
