This is said three times in honour
of God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. This
prayer has been handed down from our
forefathers. If the father of the family
has the cure he gives it to his daughter,
and if the mother of the family has the
cure she gives it to her son, so in this
way it has been handed down from gener-

the mother to son, and father to daughter.
Jaundice
Drowning leaves and the roots of
primroses boiled and taken as a drink
is a very good cure for the jaundice.
There is also another cure that the child
suffering from the jaundice should be
walked around a pig sty by a person
whose father and mother had the same
name. These cures are only made on Mon-
days and Thursdays.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
