Thomas went in for weight lifting. Mr. Sean Mitchel Drumshambo competed against him. Thomas lifted a stone curts (?). Mr Mitchel could only move it. The people then called "Thomas O'Dowd" Thomas the Strong. Two of his sons are living at present and they are strong. The two of them are now in America. One is working in a hotel and the other is working in a cinema. The two of them are proud of their father and of his name.
