  1. Hidden Treasure
    There are many forts convenient to Hartley in which it is believed the Danes and the fairies dwelt. Some people say that if you eat nettles you would discover the treasure, but others say that if you dream three times daily for a week you would find it.
    At night a rat has been seen sometimes guarding the treasure where it is supposed to be hidden. Lights have been seen crossing the Shannon from it to forts.
