  1. A Funny Story
Once upon a time there was an old woman and she had a lot of gold. She was very fond of the gold. When she was dying she called her daughter to her and told her to melt the gold in a pot on the fire and give it to her to drink. The daughter got a lump of butter and melted it on the fire and gave it to her. She was satisfied so she died and the daughter had all the gold.

  2. A Story about a Death
Long ago when people died the neighbours of the village used to come in to the house when the person was dead and say the rosary. At the wake the old women used to be snuffing and smoking clay pipes. Then they would wrap in white sheets and put the corpse on a bier and bring it to the graveyard and bury it.
