- James Glynn, Feeragh, Caherlistrane worked a big lime kiln between the years 1912 and 1918. He got stones in a quarry belonging to John Cunningham, Bohercuill, Co. Galway. He used to light a fire at the bottom of the kiln and he then laid on the lime stone. After twenty four hours the stones were burned into lime. People came from all over the parish buying lime from him.
John Monaghan, Donaghpatrick, Co. Galway, had a lime kiln about the year 1920.- Bailitheoir
