    of the Duke of Devonshire, since which time that family has been associated with Lismore. For miles around Lismore the county is unusually well wooded and very beautiful, especially along the Blackwater valley from Cappoquin to Fermoy. Another interesting road is that from Lismore, via Glen of Vee to Clogheen.
