    1. When the mountains are looking near that is a sign of rain.
    2. When the swallows are flying low we are sure to get rain.
    3. When the torey - top is shut it is a sure sign it is going to rain, and when it is open it is going to be fine.
    4. When the sea-gulls come inland it is a sign of rain.
    5. If you see misty clouds forming on heights watch them for a while. If they increase or descend, wind and rain are coming. If they arise or disperse it is a sign that the weather will become fine.
    6. A pale yellow light at sunset is a sign it will be wet next day. If the light is orange or copper there will be wind and rain.
    7. Morning rain-bows are a sign of rain-clouds from the west. If
