    In the Parish of Moygownagh about eighty years ago there lived a family named Cafferty.
    At that time oatmeal used to be stored in the houses because the owners used be afraid that the meal would be stolen by robbers.
    The Caffertys had a lot of money and oatmeal in the house.
    On night a party of robbers came to the house. They spent the whole outside trying to get in. To satisfy them the Caffertys kept throwing out oatmeal and money to them. Sometimes the robbers would shout "We will kill ye and put ye behind the fire and burn ye." After about six hours they went away. Mayor Knox of Greenwood heard of the transaction and did his utmost to get the names of the party.
