About eighty years ago my great-grand father in his day used to cut his turf in the Rathoma bog. One night he came short of turf. He had not a sod to put on the fire. So he had to set off with a creel on his back. When he arrived in the bog it was very far advanced in the night. On his homeward journey as he was passing by Crowhill, he caught a small wee man whom he threatened to kill if he would not show him where he would get a pot of money. So the wee man brought him and pointed out a spot on the hill and told him to mark that spot and when he would leave his(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
